5 out of 5 stars Love This!   December 11, 2007

I've been looking for a well made wooden rolling pin for years now, since I'm now married and doing the housewife thing, I'm baking much more than I used to.

When I lived with my parents, I just used my mom's pin, which she's had for decades now.

Hoping that I would get lucky enough to find a wooden pin that I could have for eternity, I ordered this one. It's a perfect size and weight for everything from homemade pasta, pie crusts, cookies, etc.

Not to mention that it's a great price. If you're in the market, you will not be disappointed with this. The support goes all the way through the pin, so you don't get wobbly handle syndrome, and the handles are flush to the pin so you don't get dough buildup in the cracks either.

I've never baked so much!

Oh and a quick tip, if your crusts/doughs are sticking to your counter top, use fishing line or waxed, unflavored dental floss to get under and release the dough.

Happy Baking!

Agree with everyone else. This is a solid pin and a rocking deal if you get it shipped free or with Prime.

As rolling pins go, this one is great. Heavy enough to do the job. Sometimes these can be hard to find.

5 out of 5 stars Breadmakers best friend and made in the USA!!!   March 26, 2010

To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the price- I ordered 3 for my kiddos but have since borrowed one back because I really like this rolling pin! It's nice, heavy, solid wood and construction. I do generally prefer one piece rollers because I don't enjoy the thought of things sticking in the side pieces, but these are constructed well enough so that I haven't found a problem with it at all. I've been using it for about a month and make a couple loaves of bread every other day- so I'm not your average blue moon recipe rolling pin utilizer.
